Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was conceived in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on 27 August 1976. Angie Chalke is her mother and Doug Chalke are her father. She is the middle child. She has an older sister, Natasha Chalke and one younger sister, Piper Chalke. Sarah began her acting career with City Boy (1992), an original television film. After her debut film her audition, she was cast in 1993 for the role of "Becky" of Roseanne (1988). The show was seeking an actor to replace Alicia Goranson quit the show to go to college. Sarah completed her high school graduation in 1995, during the filming of the 1994-1995 seasons of Roseanne (1988). In 1994, Sarah starred alongside Jim Varney in Ernest Goes to School (1994). Then, in 1996 she starred in 2 films which included Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear (1996) where she played a cheerleader "Krista Wilson". In 1998, one year after Roseanne (1988) ended, Sarah was asked to be a part of a show called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998). It was based on the show Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (2000), Sarah also appeared in the show. In 1993, she took over Becky's role on Roseanne (1988). She declared that she'd like to quit acting and pursue a degree in college. [2001] (1993-1997) She played Sara Gilbert's elder sister on Roseanne (1988) However, she's much younger in real life. Participated in the 1999 CCMA award ceremony, and presented an award for the top single of 1999. September 1999: Participated at the age of eight in Vancouver's stage productions. The actress is fluent in French as well as German. She volunteers at a hospice that cares for terminally ill children and works with the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund. Chalke is a cook who enjoys eating with her pals (especially Thai or sushi) she also plays the guitar, hike, ski (she's an instructor) and kayaking. Her father is a lawyer, as are her parents mediators. They also operate an agency for adoption of children. Her parents took her to China to oversee the adoptions of many orphans.
