Robin Gayle
Robin Gayle Wright was born in Dallas,
Texas, to Gayle (Gaston) she was Director of the national office at Mary Kay,
and Freddie Wright an executive in the field of pharmaceuticals. She was raised
in San Diego, California. She began her career as a model in 1980 when she was
14 years old, and also worked in Paris as well as Japan. After high school
graduation, she became an actor. She was offered a part on the soap opera Santa
Barbara (1984), for which she was nominated three times for an Daytime Emmy. She
discovered her love for Dane Witherspoon during the first season. They were
married in the year 1986. In 1987, she was the role of the title character in
The Princess Bride. After leaving the cast of Santa Barbara, she got the role
of the main character in Denial (1990) alongside Jason Patric. In the year
1990, she appeared playing the role of State of Grace (1990) and got to know
actor Sean Penn, by whom she had a daughter, Dylan Frances, and a son, Hopper
Jack. Robin returned to Hollywood after a long absence with one of her most
memorable parts: Tara in The Playboys (1992). She was a stunning actress and
was a fantastic actor. Then, she acted in Toys (1992) in Toys (1992) alongside
Robin Williams, and she delivered a hilarious performance. Wright appeared in
1994's blockbuster smash Forrest Gump (1994) with Tom Hanks. She received a
nomination for the Golden Globe Award in recognition of her performance in the
film as Jenny. She was offered a small role in The Crossing Guard (1995), with
Jack Nicholson. After having rejected 14 roles, she was finally offered the
title part in MGM/UA's Moll Flanders (1996). Pen Densham directed her and
Stockard Channing starred. Together with William Hurt, she was later featured
in Erin Dignam's Loved (1997).
