Tracy Spiridakos

 Tracy Spiridakos (Canadian actress) is Tracy Spiridakos. She starred as Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's comedy series Majority Rules! between 2009 and 2010. From 2009 to 2010, she was a star as Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) in the NBC series Revolution which is a post-apocalyptic science fiction show. She was nominated to a Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. Annika Johnson played her part in the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos has appeared on the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. Spiridakos is the character Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, restaurant owners George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. The family moved to Skala in Greece located south of Sparta within a short time after her birth. In 1992 the family returned to Canada. She has a strong connection to her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting at junior high school. She later attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She graduated from Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos relocated from Winnipeg in 2007. She was able to get her first TV appearance on Supernatural within weeks. Spiridakos continued her work on television with walk-on roles on Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos played the role in the TV film Goblin and the web-based series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also was a regular on Being Human, as Brynn McLean was the werewolf. In 2009, she was awarded her first role as a starring character in Majority Rules! Canada, in which she played 15-year-old Becky Richards. She made her feature film debut in 2011 by starring in Rise of the Planet of the Apes and also filmed the low-budget MichaelGreenspan-directed thriller, Kill for Me, featuring Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy. Spiridakos appeared as Sammi in the 2012 Nickelodeon original movie, Rags. She then landed a lead part in the NBC television show Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, the survivalist of a futuristic dystopian world. She auditioned while watching her pilot in Los Angeles. Spiridakos recorded the pilot in Atlanta and the first season in Wilmington. The actress was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Actress on television for her performance in the first season however she was defeated by Anna Torv of Fringe's Anna. In the second season production moved to Austin Texas.
