Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (pronounced NOH-vitch) is an Canadian actress. Her credits include Andy Jensen, on ABC Family's Kyle XY, and Lacy Rand, who is on Syfy's sluggish science fiction drama series Caprica. Emily Hartwell (born Maya Hartwell), is her science fiction series Continuum. Recently, she appeared as Sandy in the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz, who is Polish-American and attended the 9th year in Poland. She lived with her uncle in Poland and attended Jelenia Gola school. She went on to attend Vancouver Film School. After her brother introduced her the Pulp Fiction, she became interested in acting. Her acting career began in 2002 when she appeared in Jeremiah and John Doe. Between 2007 and 2009 she was the character Andy Jensen in Kyle XY. In 2008, she starred as Andy Jensen on Every Second Counts on the Hallmark Channel. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast to play Lacy Rand in Caprica's TV drama featuring Eric Stoltz & Alessandra Turresani. The following year, she was a guest on Hellcats. In 2012, she guest starred in the second season of Jane Espenson's web series of romantic comedy, Husbands.In 2013, Apanowicz was cast as Emily in the series Continuum In addition, she was in the Eli Roth horror film The Green Inferno as Samantha. The Green Inferno was originally filmed in 2012. The film was released worldwide in 2015. Apanowicz was cast in Volition as Angela. It was released on the 20th of February the 20th of February, 2020. Apanowicz was cast as Sandy in the second season Netflix thriller You.
