Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy was born on November 25 on the 25th of November, 1968. She is a Canadian actor, singer and musician. She is most famous for her performances in American television series Law & Order (where she was Claire Kincaid, a prosecutor) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons). She also appeared as an actress in films like RoboCop 3: Most Wanted, as well the independent film Chutney Popcorn (which she also co-directed) and The Acting Class (which was written by her). Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. Her father, John Hennessy, was a meat salesman as well as a sales/marketing executive. It was a job that required considerable travel and led to frequent relocations for the entire family. Maxine Her mother was a secretary. She was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute and Stanley Park Senior Public School. Hennessy as well as her sister were the first actors to be cast as twin call girl in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, stated that she was shortlisted in The X-Files for Dana Scully's role. Hennessy also played the role as Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993 Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to the role of Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney in the show Law & Order. The role was held for three seasons before she left the show in the year 1996.
