Aaron Jeffery

Aaron C. Jeffery is an award-winning Logie Award-winning New Zealand and Australian actor. His role includes Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He also played the role of Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and he moved to Australia at the age of seventeen years old. He studied acting at NIDA. He graduated from NIDA in 1993. He began his TV career on the children's show Ship to Shore. Jeffery is most well-known for his character Alex Ryan in the drama McLeod's Daughters, which ended in 2008 when he quit the show. He was also part of the third season of New Zealand drama Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was in the show Underbelly: Badness as Frank. He wrapped filming on 22 June. Three days later it was announced that Jeffery was joining the cast of Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. In October, it was announced that Jeffery had been chosen to play a corrections official in the show Wentworth. He also starred in the Bevan Lee series Between Two Worlds for the Seven Network. In April, it was announced 2021 that Jeffery will be appearing in the Netflix thriller series Pieces of Her. The show is an adaptation of the Karin Slaughter novel. In both 2004 and 2007, Jeffery won the Silver Logie for the Most Popular Actor in a Drama Series for his performance on McLeod's Daughters.
