Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis, born Milena Kunis, was born in Chernivtsi Ukraine on August 14, 1982. Kunis immigrated with her parents Elvira Kunis and Mark Kunis to the United States at seven years old. They eventually settled in Los Angeles. It was not an easy start for the Kunis family that came to their new home with just $250. Kunis' parents, both of whom gave up their professional careers to move to a better location for their children, were determined to provide a better life for their children. Mark who was a retired mechanical engineer was soon able to get employment as a taxi driver. Elvira who had studied physics in Ukraine became a pharmacist. "I did not understand the culture," Kunis has said when she first arrived in the United States. "I did not know the American people. I didn't understand the language. My essay to get in college started with this line: "Imagine being blinded and deaf by 7 years old." And that's what it was like moving to America. It was easy to forget. Milena Markovna Kunis is the daughter of Mark Kunis in Chernivtsi (Ukraine), and Elvira. Her older brother is also hers. Her mother works as an instructor of physics. She also runs a pharmacy. Her father, who is a mechanical engineer by profession, doubles as a driver for cabs. Her family moved to Los Angeles in seven years. Rosewood Elementary school was her first choice. When she was nine, she began lessons in acting. After being a part of commercials and being cast in her first television role on Days of Our Lives' 1994. In 1998, she was offered her first major role as 'Jackie Burkhart in the popular sitcom 'That '70s show'.After the acclaim about her performance in the role of 'Jackie', she lent her voice for the character of 'Meg' Griffin' on the animated sitcom 'Family Guy'.
