Kari Matchett Biography

Kari Matchett is an actress from Canada. She is famous for her role as Kari in films such as "Apartment Hunting", "Men with Brooms" and "The Tree of Life." Born in Spalding, Saskatchewan and raised there, she eventually moved to Alberta where she completed high school. She began to pursue acting as a pastime in her teens. To further train in acting, she enrolled at the  National Theatre School located in Montreal and later went to the  Moscow Theatre School.' In 1996 she was a support role in the Canadian series titled "The Rez." She appeared in series such as 'Forever Knight 'Ready or Not?' and others that in the same year. In the latter part of 1990 when she made her debut in film in the form of the film "Papertrail" and then acted in films like "Men with Brooms" and "Cypher." She also played supporting roles on series' such as "A Nero Wolfe Mystery,' and Blue Murder. The actress continued to appear in films throughout the early 2000s, however her appearances on film were much less than the TV roles she played. She also played the main actress in 1998's Canadian drama series called 'Power Play. The show was on for two seasons and 26 episodes, and was highly praised by critics as well as advertisers. Her role in the series earned her a 'Gemini Award. Jude Lyon Matchett, her son was born in June of 2013. However, she refused to reveal the father of her son. According to certain sources her ex-boyfriend is the father her son's. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke started dating her in the mid-1990s. They got married in the month of October 1998. The marriage didn't last and they split in 2006.

Yvonne Joyce Craig (May 16 1936 - - August 17 2015), was an American dancer, actress and choreographer.
